The Transport Executive is the driving force behind the development of public transport networks in South Yorkshire.
Our role is to encourage the maximum use of public transport throughout South Yorkshire and to promote growth of the public transport network. We work closely with transport service operators, local councils and other key stakeholders to develop the network and services across the county.
We are a dynamic, innovative and award-winning organisation which is a leader in its field.
We carry out the work of the South Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority which was named PTA of the Year in the National Transport Awards 2007.
