1                                     Strategic Fit

1.1                                About this section

1.1.1                             This section of the proposal describes in some detail how the outcomes of the project, and the nature of the work aligns with the targeted Call, with the programme strategy and with the e-Framework. This section will also demonstrate the ways in which the proposal compliments other JISC projects, completed and current, ensuring continuity of development for the JISC and good value for money overall.

1.2                                Stakeholder value

1.2.1                             Identify who will benefit from this project and how. Remember to keep aligned with the JISC Call.

1.3                                Value of the deliverables to institutions and facilitators of eLearning

1.3.1                             Describe how this project will benefit practioners of emerging social learning technologies in a work based/ CPD context

1.4                                Value of the deliverables to Work Based and Non-Traditional Learners

1.4.1                             Describe the impact this will have on the learner and eventual outcomes

1.5                                Value to the JISC

1.5.1                             Describe how this project advances the JISC strategy with respect to the e-Framework and the call in general

1.6                                Related Projects

1.6.1                             Prior to this submission the team have sought the experience and counsel of other JISC projects exploring social and web based technologies in a work based learning context. These are the JISC projects we feel most closely related to. A dialogue has already been opened with many of them and a commitment made to share knowledge and insight for our mutual benefit, and of course the benefit of the JISC itself.
