ANKOS :: Blog

October 06, 2008

It is perhaps a little difficult to understand the appeal of a community blogging space, particularly for a consortia such as ANKOS.

Well, InTouch has been developed to provide for simple and secure spaces for conversation and community building activities and includes many of the social media (or Web 2.0) tools that are currently attracting much attention an hype.

Your ANKOS community, or your ANKOS site - now offers you the ability to link to interesting and diverse content from other sites, including the ANKOS member sites.

It can also be developed as apromotional site; in this example Copenhagen libraries are promoting their library conference via YouTube, you could do the same.

 The blogs are great conversational tool and allow any ANKOS community memeber to ask questions or comment on developing threads.Members are encouraged to add keywords to the content they add so that it can be found later by others.

If you've heard of wikipedia, then why not create your own version for ANKOS? The ANKOS wiki pages are easy to create anyone can edit them; over time they can become a very valuable ANKOS knowledgebase.

It's very easy to add content to your ANKOS community, files, photos, audio and video can all be uploaded and shared instantly among ANKOS members.

While this first post is public, ANKOS is a private and secure community. Only approved members can add or edit content.

If you'd like to add your own content, please join the community!
