David Lamond

I am Associate Dean, Nottingham Business School, at Nottingham Trent University, since August 2008. After 15 years working in academia at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and then Sydney Graduate School of Management SGSM), I worked full-time as Principal and Corporate Consigliere for David Lamond & Associates for 2 and 1/2 years between 2006 and 2008. My most recent major assignment (July - December, 2007) was as Founding Dean of the Kochi International Business School (KIBS).

I also work as Academic Advisor to Emerald Group Publishing and Consigliere to its CEO, John Peters. I edit the Journal of Management History and serve on a number of Editorial Advisory Boards. I work closely with the Academy of Management, as Chair of the Academy's International Theme Committee (2005-2007) and, from August 2008, as Program Chair for the Management History Division.
